Palletizing Robot Cell Conversion (40kg)

When palletizing products on EUR pallets, it is very important that the bags do not protrude beyond the vertical plane of the EUR pallet and that the finished pallet is so stable that it does not shake during transport.

Our partner had a problem with the stability of the pallets and the uneven palleting. Robots were used for palleting, but the robotic load capacity of the robot (110kg) and the gripper type were poorly selected. When the layers were formed, the product was thrown away from the product and due to the flour on the surface of the packaging, the sack was prone to slipping. Thereby, it slid off the vertical plane of the pallet or stopped at an angle that made it difficult to install the next layer.

Because of the above problems, we changed the robot and designed a new gripper that has proven to be good in another project. We have created a new program for the PLC to make the robot cell more stable.
